Steps to archive and un-archive designations as well as searching for designations that have been archived
When a designation is no longer being used for donations or payments, you can archive it. Archiving a designation will remove it from the default view and prevent payments from being recorded against it.

Go to the Finance tab > Designations > Designation Type (Fund, Project, General Designation, etc.)

Click the X to the left of the designation you wish to archive

Click OK to confirm you want to archive the designation

When the page refreshes, the status of the designation is now Archived
Please note: the next time you view the designation list, this designation will not be visible
To search for an archived designation

Go to the Finance tab > Designations > Designation Type (Fund, Project, General Designation, etc.)

Click Use Advanced Search

Click the Archived checkbox and then click Search (If you have several archived designations, you can also add a search term in the text box before you click Search)
To un-archive the designation

In the search results, click the check mark to the left of the designation you need to re-activate

Click OK to confirm you want to un-archive the designation

When the page refreshes, the Archived status has been removed
Please note: the next time you view the designation list, this designation will be visible
