Configure the expiring/expired credit card email communication trigger

In Vision2, you can notify donors that their credit/debit card tied to an active schedule is going to expire by enabling a triggered communication. This is a two-part process.

Edit the Trigger Communication Configuration

  • Scroll down to the Default Credit Card communication and click the Details button to the right of the communication.

Please note: The default messaging is designed to start sending messages 30 days before the card is set to expire following by reminders every 15 days. The messaging will stop once the card information has been updated for the active schedule.

  • Click the Edit Trigger Configuration button in the bottom right-hand corner

  • Make your desired changes to the communication schedule and/or the email communications

  • Click Save & I’m Done

  • Click the Edit Rules button in the bottom right-hand corner

  • Under the Expired Credit Card section, click the toggle switch to ON
